My name is DJ Rambo, and I am a graduate student at the University of Texas Permian Basin working under the supervision of Jennifer Mason, MEd, LPC-S. I earned my bachelor’s degree of science in psychology at GCU in 2020 and my associate’s degree in substance abuse counseling from Odessa College in 2016. I specialize in substance use disorders and have 8 years of experience in this field.
I am truly passionate about helping others on their life journey. I want to collaborate with my clients, as I help guide them through the various processes and transitions that can be difficult to navigate alone. I am here to provide a safe place to move past your traumatic experiences and life's stressors into a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. I use person-centered therapy, rational emotive therapy, and solution-focused therapy, but prefer to utilize an integrated approach that will provide the most effective outcome for my clients so they can find their path to personal growth
When I have down time, I love to travel, meet new people, and engage in outdoor activities.
