I’m so glad you are here. Life is a beautiful and challenging journey and we all need a little support along the way. I believe there is full, abundant, flourishing life to be had in the highs and lows. I look forward to meeting you where you are at and journeying with you.
I strive to provide a genuine and welcoming environment. My hope is that you experience therapy with warmth, compassion, gentleness, and curiosity. I believe in the healing power of relationship. It’s in relationship that we can make meaningful connections, gain insights, develop new tools, and work collaboratively toward your personal goals.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Psychology and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My background includes working with children and youth in international and ministry settings, working with foster and adoptive families, and working at a community trauma center for children, youth and adults. I utilize an eclectic approach including Person-centered therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as play and expressive arts therapies to name a few. I am also a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner which is an evidence based, attachment focused, trauma informed model for children and families.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my sweet hubby and energetic puppy. You can also find me reading, going for walks, cooking new foods, and crafting.
